애플릿이란 특정한 작업을 수행하는 작은 응용 프로그램으로 추가한 것을 말합니다.

애플릿은 패널의 좌, 우측에 표시되는 아이콘을 말합니다.

예를 들어 시작메뉴 아이콘이나 오른쪽의 트레이 아이콘 또한 애플릿입니다.

다운로드 항목에서 다른사람이 등록해 놓은 애플릿을 다운로드 하면 관리쪽에 항목이 생깁니다.

+나 - 버튼을 통해 애플릿을 추가하거나 뺄수 있습니다.
